We had a tour of the Ron Longstaffe collection today. It had not been entirely hung yet, all the work was sitting on the floor, no labels, like a frame shop. It is quite impressive. Rauchenberg lithographs, Lichtenstein prints, Warhols, Pellan paintings, BC Billings (which I just love), and all of the hard edge abstraction which is just so cool. There is also a landscape room, and it is very well put together. We only had a quick tour through, and I am looking forward to touring this exhibit with the kids. So much to talk about.
