Slick blogging tactics

I came across a posting tactic last week that I thought was really slick.

Happy Cog just announced their launch of the AIGA web site.

Happy Cog had their ducks in a row when they launched the site, and it's
obvious this post was ready and waiting in the wings. The blogosphere has
been actively talking about this launch, as you can see by the amount of
comments and cross posts.

The part I think is particularly smart is the Read More section at the
bottom of the post. Instead of relying on one post to say it all, all
members of the team posted about the launch on their own blogs, speaking
about their own specific part in the project. I can read about the design
with Jason, the implementation with Dan, or the process with Jeffery, and I
if I am super interested in one topic, the mass of comments below.

This kind of tactic not only breaks down the information into digestible
bits, it also spreads the exposure and implies team cohesion. Pretty
interesting when you think about it!

Maybe I will get a chance to use this one ...
